New tool helps audit recruitment processes
A new support tool, 160 Questions to help audit your recruitment processes, was launched today by Dr Ann Villiers, specialist in government recruitment management.
"Following the release of the ANAO Report No 31 on managing recruitment in the APS, government departments may be expected to conduct their own review. This ebook provides 160 questions covering workforce planning, attraction, recruitment, selection, retention, and evaluation," explains Dr Villiers.
"With stiff competition for talent, attracting and retaining staff is a critical business focus. By asking questions in this ebook, people can identify ways to:
- widen the pool of potential recruits
- keep staff longer
- market more creatively
- establish monitoring and evaluation practices
- develop retention-friendly managers
- build clearer strategic direction."
The tool can be purchased from http://www.selectioncriteria.com.au/products.html
