Teleseminars

The Job Application Mastery teleseminar program currently offers two one-hour seminars: How to write well to selection criteria (Basics) and How to sell yourself at job interviews.

You access these seminars by phone, similar to being on a conference call. Teleseminars give you a way of gaining professional development without having to leave your desk or home. They’re quicker (one hour), cheaper (only $69.00 plus a phone call) and they give you the chance to obtain specific information in digestible chunks plus have your own questions personally answered.

During these teleseminars you can ask questions, gain in-depth information and insights into the mysteries of public sector selection processes.

Teleseminars can be held during or after business hours at a time to suit your team.

If you have five or more staff you can arrange a customised, in-house teleseminar.

If you would like to offer your staff one of these teleseminar you can contact Dr Villiers either by using the Contact Us feature on this web site or calling 02 6254 5023.

Cost: $AUD69.00 (GST incl.) per person per seminar

  • How to prove your skills and experience

With this knowledge you can prepare for interviews more strategically so that you sound more convincing and articulate.

When you register for How to sell yourself at job interviews you receive this article free: How to make a convincing case that you are the best person for the job.

How do teleseminars work?

A teleseminar is like a large conference call only the focus is on a speaker providing information on a given topic. There will be time for questions and audience participation. The way it works is that after you register for a seminar you will be given a designated number to call and you phone that number a few minutes before the scheduled starting time. A standard landline phone is used. You will need to have an email address to receive support materials.

Once you register for a teleseminar you will receive:

  • An email welcoming you and confirming your registration.
  • An email on teleseminar etiquette, access details and seminar notes.
  • Your free bonus article.

For small in-house teleseminars it works equally well to use a conference call.
